Ain’t A Damn Thing Change On Statik Selektah’s Newest Single feat. G-Eazy, Joey Bada$$ & Enisa

With tomorrow marking exactly a week till the release of his eighth solo album, appropriately titled, 8 and also quite appropriately arriving on Dec. 8th, Statik Selektah earlier today decided to give us his latest star-studded single from the album, Ain’t A Damn Thing Change.  Another very laidback boom-bap joint that features G-Eazy, Joey Bada$$ & Enisa.  The real chill smooth and laidback production, which also has Brady Watts on bass, Cas Weinbern on the keys and Utril Rhaburn on the horns, gives it a really jazzy feel that truly allows Joey to do what he does best with his very amazing guest verse.  The regal space on the instrumental being perfect for him to paint this great lyrical picture and quotable, “Young Joseph, Steady climbin’ up the ladder tryin to keep focused.  These b*****s asses gettin’ fatter make me feel hopeless.  They just want the Magnum open, I just want the magnum opus.”  While Enisa’s very amazing chorus and writing is quite the icing on an already amazing track.
