It’s A Midwest Takeover With Chance The Rapper & Eminem On SNL!

It was a Midwest takeover in NY last night.  As Chicago’s very own Chance the Rapper hosted Saturday Night Live, while Detroit’s own, Eminem, served as the musical guest.  This was the first time the Chicago rapper hosted the show, after already performing several times before.  Getting a chance to really show off his acting chops for the first time with several funny sketches throughout the night, which included sketches varying from Chance as a Gotham City locale at a Wayne Manor food drive for the less fortunate in need during Thanksgiving complaining about Batman’s too excessive force on crime, a Boyz II Men-inspired video from De-Von-Tre (a group comprised of Chano, Kenan Thompson and Chris Redd) called, Come Back, Barack, a Steve Harvey Family Feud: Thanksgiving Edition that featured Chance in the role of a Steve Harvey lookalike, Cecil, and many others which you can see below.  Arguably the best one though was the opening monologue that had Lil Chano performing a new song, that he hoped would make him the “Mariah Carey of Thanksgiving.”

Eminem’s performance on SNL is also included.
