New Artist Spotlight – NSTASIA with Hell Of A Time

After another longer than expected hiatus, that once again lasted a little over half the year, me and the rest of the team here at TheHipHopDemocrat, decided to bring back, yet again our New Artist Spotlight.  This time highlighting very talented Haitian-American singer/songwriter, NSTASIA, who recently dropped her very amazing new single, Hell Of A Time.

The catchy new record really showing the truly great songwriting abilities of the songwriter, over the sparkling soft production, which showcases her very soft and amazing tone that’s R&B/Soul, but also has tinges of Pop.  In much the same way of recent new artists like SZA and Kehlani, she easily blends R&B with Pop, but still where you can tell it’s her own style.

NSTASIA is no stranger to the music business though, as even despite this new record being set to be on her new upcoming debut EP, New Religion, which will be released a couple of weeks from today on Nov. 17th, the singer has been around music her whole life.  As her father was a live musician, who played for Soul and R&B legends like Betty Wright and Eugene Wilde.  Even taking her to the studio with him and NSTASIA was also signed with Pop hitmaker and legendary producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins while she was a college student.
