KXNG CROOKED Drops Truth (Why You Mad) feat. Royce Da 5’9″, Announces Release For Highly-Anticipated, Good Vs Evil 2

A little over a year ago, Nov. 11, 2016 to be exact, Long Beach emcee and C.O.B., as well as Slaughterhouse rep KXNG CROOKED, dropped the most important album of his career thus far with the critically-acclaimed and politically charged, Good Vs Evil.

While today the LBC rep is back with the first single from the highly-anticipated, followup album, Good Vs Evil 2: Red Hood, with, Truth (Why You Mad).  Premiered just a few short hours ago through HotNewHipHop, it features fellow Slaughterhouse groupmate, Royce Da 5’9″ and once again sees a lyrical onslaught from half of Slaughterhouse.  As the two spit truthful, authentic and unapologetic bars at the right wing party.

Crook having the following to say about the controversial new album cover, single and album in a statement.  “There are a few messages I wanted the artwork to communicate.  One is the thin line between good and evil.  Sometimes there’s light in villains and darkness in heroes.  I also added a figure that may be a bit controversial and that’s the widely accepted image of Jesus Christ.  No shot at Christians, but that particular image of Christ symbolizes death, slavery and colonization to many.  Most American slave masters and Klu Klux Klan Members hang that image on their walls and truly believe themselves to be Christians.  I’m trying to open doors to taboo conversations.  And lastly, the Trump figure is “Red Hood,” the albums new enemy of justice being inducted into the Tyrants club and kneeling like the football players for what he believed in; hatred and division.”

You can listen to one half of Slaughterhouse truthful and authentic, no-holds barred single above.  Which should definitely hold you over till Crook’s, highly-anticipated and much needed new album, Good Vs Evil 2, drops on Dec. 8th.
