Mathematics & Wu-Tang Clan, Unbox Mystery, In Dark Mysterious New Video, For, People Say feat. Redman

Fresh off the heels of releasing his latest single, Lesson Lear’nd, last week, longtime Wu-Tang Clan DJ and producer, Mathematics is back today with the very highly-anticipated video for the ridiculously dope lead single, People Say featuring Redman.  Which is from Math’s upcoming highly-anticipated album, Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues, that drops on Oct. 13th and is executive produced by RZA.

The new Jean Shepard-directed video, which was first premiered by Complex earlier today as part of #WuWednesdays has a very great concept too.  As the track/video, which features Clan members, Method Man, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck and Masta Killa, as well as longtime Wu affiliate, Redman, finds all emcees laying down and performimg their vocals, while a mysterious Wu logo branded box is passed around.

The box, which is very similar to the briefcase passed around in Pulp Fiction, is passed around by Mathematics, RZA and the songs vocalists throughout the visual.  Math having the following to say to Complex about the concept.  “The concept of the video is based on a Wu box and inside the Wu box is the secret to the Wu’s energy.  It’s sacred but at the same time we want to share it so we give it out piece by piece.  But there’s always someone who wants to take too much for their own selfish reasons.  All of that transpires in the video.”

Which you can see when you watch the dark and mysteriously amazing new visual for People Say below.
