Continuing with their traditional new Hip-Hop Lives concert series in Chicago, Knowledge Beckom Presents brings their third installment of the series meant to reclaim the purpose of Golden Era Hip-Hop of the 90’s to a live band to Park West, this Saturday Sept. 9th,.
Previously done with such lyrical Hip-Hop heavyweights of the 90’s Golden Era as AZ, MC Eiht, Scarface and Freeway, among others in its first two installments, this newest installment in the series will feature legendary Hip-Hop duo and group, EPMD.
Like many of the artists, who performed in the first two installments in the series, this will be the first time ever, EPMD, has performed with a live band. Chicago’s very own, The Moe Fitz Project, once again serving as the live band and Chicago’s very own legendary DJ, Jay Illa, once again providing the musical soundtrack on the turntables in between sets. With fellow legendary emcee, Nature, formerly of Hip-Hop supergroup, The Firm, opening as a special live opening act.
