New Video Kendrick Lamar – DNA.

Only a couple days after his very amazing first weekend headlining set at Coachella, where he played most of his new music from his recently released and critically-acclaimed new album, DAMN, for the first time live, TDE emcee Kendrick Lamar looks to keep the momentum going.

As earlier today through Vevo he premiered the very cinematic new Nabil & The Little Homies co-directed video for his standout record, DNA.  In the visuals, which co-star actor Don Cheadle, Cheadle’s character is looking to interrogate K-Dot on a polygraph in an underground black site.

Before he can though, he’s zapped by electronic forces and now being controlled by Dot, the two start an epic back and forth dual performance of the Mike WiLL Made-It-produced banger that you have to see to believe.

Cheadle’s character eventually passing out and letting Kendrick go, before he transforms into Kung Fu Kenny and heads out a door to Compton with his homies to shoot dice.  The viewer is then taking on a fast-paced visual flash journey of Kendrick’s life that starts to flash various events of his life.  One of the more notable ones flashing Kendrick playing pool in front of a framed photo of 2Pac and Snoop Dogg with his seven Grammys.

The ending with ScHoolboy Q is one you probably wouldn’t expect either and you have to see that really truly helps brings the record to life.
