MC Eiht, AZ & Philadelphia Freeway To Kickoff Inaugural Classic Hip-Hop Lives Concert Series In Chicago

On Saturday March 25th, Knowledge Beckhom Presents a very first of its kind performance with legendary emcees MC Eiht, AZ and Philadelphia Freeway set to perform collectively for the first time to a live band at Park West in Chicago, which is located at 322 W. Armitage Ave.  The event will begin at 8 p.m. CST and end at 11:30 p.m. CST.

Show producer Knowledge Beckhom had the following to say in a statement, as part of a press release on the upcoming show, “This show is the debut of the Classic Hip-Hop Lives Unplugged concert series where we are reclaiming the Golden Era of Hip-Hop by delivering 90’s Hip-Hop rhymes to a live band.  We are giving our guests a unique experience and a new way to consume their favorite hitmakers from yesteryear.  This project was produced from the love of Hip-Hop music and the culture and lifestyle it represents.  Through this performance, we are giving Hip-Hop a unique tribute that surpasses the usual rap concert of rhymes over electronic beats.”

Keeping things here in his roots of Chicago, Knowledge Beckhom also has local based Hip-Hop group One Shawdow to open the show, as well as, The Moe Fitz Project, who also helm from here in Chicago, serving as the live band.  Legendary Chicago DJ’s, DJ Jay Illa and Jamal Smallz will provide the musical soundtrack on the turntables in between sets.
