New Raekwon – Purple Brick Road feat. G-Eazy

Earlier this month Raekwon released his latest lyrically dope new single, This Is What It Comes Too along with the announcement a few weeks before that, his highly anticipated new album, The Wild, would be released on March 24th.

Now after recently releasing the single’s accompanying visual, The Chef early yesterday morning through a premiere with Pitchfork, gave us the newest single from the album, Purple Brick Road featuring G-Eazy, as well as the official tracklisting for the album.

On the new track Rae flexes his lyrical muscle yet again over the very soulful J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League-produced backdrop and shows as G-Eazy mentioned in his own verse why 20+ years after The Purple Tape, The Chef is still one of the most lyrically sharp emcees in all of Hip-Hop.  Even inspiring G-Eazy to provide a very surprisingly nice guest verse himself too.

Listen below and see why Raekwon continues to be one of the greatest lyricists and emcees of all-time.  Then also check the tracklisting, which features the likes of Cee-Lo Green, Lil Wayne, Andra Day, G-Eazy and P.U.R.E. below that.
