You know Hip-Hop is starting to get back in somewhat of a good space when Raekwon, Nas, Jay Z or any of the older Golden Age of Hip-Hop era emcees are getting ready to drop new ish. Such is the case with Raekwon cooking up some new heating and getting set to drop his newest solo album, The Wild, next month and to get this Friday morning and the weekend started off right, by The Chef cooking up some new heat with the premiere through Vevo of his new John Colombo-directed video for This Is What It Comes Too.
The straight banger of a lead single from the album, which has Rae sounding like that classic true grimy to the core pure Hip-Hop with the darts he’s throwing on this and his flow sounding like he’s taking you right back to the 90’s over the classic boom bap beats we are used to hearing Wu members rap over and destroy in that raw, pure uncut form. Which you can watch below.
The dark, but simple, yet dope visuals giving you feeling that feeling like you’re back in that Golden Era of Rap from the 90’s again.
