Smooth, EPMD, UGK and more recently Run the Jewels, as well as 1982, PRhyme and Statik KXNG to name a few. A very smooth and soulful joint that over the classic smooth-riden and piano-driven boom bap production of the legendary producer we’ve come to expect, finds the Uptown emcees spitting that real about how coming from where they’ve come from, it’s a milestone to be where they currently are and still making solid money doing so.
