Arguably the two nicest emcees chosen for this year’s XXL Freshmen class, are Harlem’s Dave East and Chicago’s G Herbo. So it’s only appropriate these two emcees collobarate on a new track, Do It For. A track that finds the duo so effortlessly showing off how lyrically nice they are over the sinister Black Metaphor production, while also letting us know who they do it for. With how well their styles complement each other, while telling us cautionary tales of the streetlife on this track, I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing more collabos from these two great emerging emcees in the near future too. Shot I wouldn’t even mind a full project, even if it was just a mixture or EP. In the meantime though listen to this very dope hard new heater from East & Herbo below.
