New Video Marsha Ambrosius – Have You Ever

Though it has been almost two years since the release of her sophomore solo album, Friends & Lovers, very talented singer/songwriter Marsha Ambrosius has kept busy living up to her nickname of The Songstress.  As she has been featured on projects from everyone to Nas, Joe Budden, Dr. Dre & more recently T.I.  While last night Marsha marked the return to her own new solo work with her Flourish and Multiply-directed video for Have You Ever.  A cover of late Reggae legend Dennis Brown’s 1981 classic, Have You Ever Been In Love, which was premiered yesterday on Billboard.  Taken from the recent compilation album, We Remember Dennis Brown, that pays tribute to “The Crown Prince of Reggae”, we hope this is the beginning of a lot more new solo work from Marsha, but this will do for now even though it’s only a cover/reworking and not new original material.  In the meantime watch below the nostalgic-inspired visuals exclusively through Billboard, as Ambrosius goes through vinyls to find love for both a song and a man.
