The amazingly free soulful spirit that is Corinne Bailey Rae is getting set to release her new album, The Heart Speaks in Whispers, on May 13th and to get fans ready for her first album in six years Ms. Bailey Rae gives us the new video, which was premiered by BET Soul for the second single from the album, the irresistibly sensual, Green Aphrodisiac. As with the seductive tone of the song, Corinne keeps with the theme of nature being sexy without sex for the visuals. With Bailey Rae’s cascading curls taking center stage before a green backdrop, before two Black male dancers join her with their own fluid movements that are initially by themselves, but then also eventually engulf Corinne in their touch and rhythm. Playing on the nature part of the record, Corinne also sensually wraps her private areas with ferns and painted golden-leaves like an aphrodisiac, as she slowly and sensually gets intune with nature to really bring the song to life in the visuals, which you can watch below.
