New Video Funkadelic – Ain’t That Funkin’ Kinda Hard on You? Remix feat. Kendrick Lamar & Ice Cube

Compton emcee Kendrick Lamar helped bring G-Funk back to the forefront of mainstream Hip-Hop last year with his critically acclaimed Grammy-Award winning album, To Pimp a Butterfly.  One of the keys to doing so was K-Dot bringing on one of the innovators of funk George Clinton on the intro track for his stamp of approval.  With his influence felt throughout said album, the TDE rep did Clinton a favor by appearing on the We Ain’t Neva Gonna Stop remix to Funkadelic’s, Ain’t That Funkin’ Kinda Hard on You?, which also features fellow Compton emcee Ice Cube.  Earlier today the Funkadelic frontman showed how his influence crosses two eras of Compton emcees in the Video God-directed out of this world video.  As even at 74-years-old Clinton shows he can still groove with the best of them in an epic visual that includes everything from motherships, intergalactic space travel, lots of partying, a Star Wars styled theme with a special appearance from legendary comedian/actor Michael Colyar and even George dabbing.  You can try avoiding, but it will be hard to not try getting your own groove and mini-party on to this funky masterpiece, as you watch all the futuristic influence and partying in the clip below.
