Here’s a collaboration that came out of nowhere and must wouldn’t expect. Current rising R&B/Pop starlet Tinashe covers Bleachers lead single, I Wanna Get Better, off their debut album, Strange Desire. Which was released last summer and is the side project of fun., lead guitarist Jack Antonoff. The 22-year-old rising star really does the original record of her RCA Records labelmate’s justice and with her softly smooth tone shows off the many different range of great vocals she has. This is off Terrible Thrills, Vol. 2, which is an all-female cover album of Bleachers’ said debut album and is now available for free download here. For those interested in more from Tinashe, who’s already had a huge year, you will be sure to hear plenty more too with her highly anticipated sophomore album, Joyride, set to drop this Fall and a new single set to drop this Friday Oct. 2nd.
