You have to really give it up for emerging Los Angeles singer/songwriter Tinashe’s PR team, they are really making sure they get her everywhere. From music to commercials and tours, what has already been a huge year for Tinashe keeps getting better.
As coming off her Wireless Festival debut overseas, the L.A. native is now the face of Ralph Lauren’s Denim & Supply clothing line. Making for the unusual, but still great pairing of her and fellow pop rising star Cody Simpson giving an impromptu jam session cover of the 1970’s always timeless classic, “Express Yourself.”
In a video touting the line’s latest looks from the Ralph Lauren line, the two model the All-American fashions at New York’s storied Electric Lady Studios, while playing instruments and having a funky good time, covering Charles Wright & The Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band’s funky good timeless single.
