Kendrick Lamar Announces Release Date For Highly Anticipated New Album

The wait is nearly over and as Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith said the excitement of a new album makes it like Christmas has changed for a year.  The TDE mogul really didn’t say that, but with the confirmation he pretty much made via Twitter earlier today that his artist Kendrick Lamar will be dropping his highly anticipated next solo album at the end of this month on Monday March 23th it makes it feel like it almost is.

Early this afternoon Kendrick took to his Twitter where simply a link was put up, which linked to an iTunes pre-order of his new album.  An all black cover art was up with a track listing of 16 tracks that included Kendrick’ latest single, the politically charged, The Blacker the Berry.  All the other tracks where numbered and simply Untitled was listed as the name of the album.  Though it’s said the official artwork, track names and name of the album will be reveled later on.

Top pretty much confirmed that the album was legit though by tweeting this:
