The Game Brings Out Mentor Dr. Dre and Fellow Compton Emcee Kendrick Lamar at The Documentary 10th Anniversary Show

It’s hard to believe how fast time flies by, but yesterday proved that again.  As it marked the 10 year anniversary of Westcoast emcee, The Game’s classic breakout debut album, The Documentary and to celebrate the occasion he had a 10th anniversary show at The Belasco Theater in his hometown of Los Angeles, California.  During the celebration he brought out many special guests, which included the album’s executive producer (who was also his mentor and Aftermath Entertainment founder) Dr. Dre and another great Compton, California emcee Kendrick Lamar.  Bridging the gap between three generations of great emcees from Compton, Game brought the good Doctor out before he performed “Runnin” and K. Dot out for his performance of “Westside Story.”  The Compton emcee also showed a lot of love to current great Westcoast label Top Dawg Entertainment and Kendrick’s TDE labelmates by having ScHoolboy Q come out during his performance of “Higher” and Ab-Soul for a freestyle.  Video of some of the performances can be seen below on what looked like a memorable and historic night.
