New Video Slaughterhouse – Y’all Ready Know

Supergroup Slaughterhouse hasn’t dropped any new music since their House Rules mixtape earlier this year and mostly been focusing on their solo careers lately, but last night they returned with new music in the form of their new DJ Premier-produced single, Y’all Ready Know.  A light, piano-driven, old school sounding production from Preemo with it’s perfectly placed snares and scratches that finds all four quarters of the Slaughter spitting insightful, thought-provoking lyrics.  The new visuals for the track are simple and to the point like Royce’s verse on the track, as they find the legendary producer extrordianaire and all four emcees on a rooftop throughout most of the video performing their verses while Premier does his scratches, which is very reminiscent of a House party on a roof in lot of classic old school Hip-Hop videos and that pure quality Hip-Hop is being delivered.  If this is how amazing a Preemo and Slaughterhouse (Royce and Premier’s collabo album, PRhyme was originally said to have been a Slaughterhouse produced Premier album) album would sound then we need that to happen ASAP too.  For now though this lyrical masterpiece from all four quarters of the Slaughter serves as the next single from Shady Records new compilation album, Shady XV, set to drop at the end of the month on Nov. 24th.  A compilation of 28 songs over two discs, where Eminem and his Shady Records label celebrate 15 years as a staple of Hip-Hop with the first disc being all new music from Eminem and his Shady Records artists.  While the second disc will be comprised of greatest hits from the label such as 50 Cent’s “In Da Club and Eminem’s “Lose Yourself.”  The album is currently available for pre-order on iTunes and this record along with Eminem’s recently released Guts Over Fear feat. Sia are automatically available once you pre-order.  Check the video from all four quarters of the lyrical monster and Preemo below.
