After a couple weeks delay, R&B singer/songwriter Mila J (whom I interviewed for the site back in June) finally released her highly anticipated debut EP, M.I.L.A. today Oct. 14th and in conjuction with the project finally dropping she decided today to release the new video for Times Like These. The Blue Gregory-directed (also directed My Main) video is a very cinematic mini-movie, which finds Mila like a true ride or die chick sticking with her man (played by Kevin McCall) in hard times like those of him losing his job. Thus leading him to selling drugs and eventually getting caught up by the cops to be arrested. You will never see the twist at the end coming though for the very 90s inspired soulful ballad (which is by far the best record on the project) and video, which really let’s Mila show off her acting chops in the very amazing visual that shows love always trumps all.
