On the heels of the bad news earlier in the NBA that Derrick Rose would be out the remainder of the season for the Chicago Bulls, almost ironically the Los Angeles Lakers have now come with the great news that their own currently injured superstar Kobe Bryant signed a two-year, $48 million contract extension that will keep him a Laker for life. Which you have to really admire and appreciate the loyalty between both sides cause it allows Kobe to do something rare in today’s free agent and trade market by staying with one team for his entire career.
