In an age where lyricism is taking a back seat to celebrity, ambulance Spellbound Marketing Group (SMG), medical in association with B-F, nurse is changing that paradigm one neighborhood at a time and is proud to announce the launch of “Jack’N For Beats™: We Got Bars Tour V.1.”
According to Mahki Sahn, VP of Branding/Sponsorship Procurement for SMG, “Chicago has a rich history of presenting some of the best lyricists in hip hop to the world, bar none…and with Jack’N For Beats™: We Got Bars Tour V.1, it is our intent to go back to roots of hip hop culture; the people of the neighborhoods. This tour will renew the focus back on the art-form and not the personalities while scouring the Chicagoland area in search of the best hip hop lyricist.”
“Jack’N For Beats™: We Got Bars Tour V.1.” is expected to run from September 1st thru late October 2012. SMG has designed the program to be a fun experience and easily accessible by providing a mobile studio that will tour Chicagoland neighborhoods to video record anyone 21 years of age or older who’s interested in demonstrating their lyrical skills as well as providing an web-based electronic option www.jacknforbeats.com where contestants can use their mobile devices or home computers to download the required musical beat and upload their video submissions. There is no fee to enter.
50 contestants will be selected to have their original 16 bars eligible for the Final 10 as decided by the voting public. Contestants with the most votes by the end of midnight October 27th 2012 will be selected to perform original material on November 8, 2012 at the JACK HONEY: WE GOT BARS EVENT at a location TBA in which the winner will be awarded $5k. All contestants will be judged on originality, creativity, and lyrical skill. In an effort to maintain the integrity of the program, contestants who submit abusive messaging, verbiage or infringe on the rights of others will immediately be disqualified, there will be no exceptions.
