In the midst of the heated racial and political tensions of the U.S these days. It’s important that we keep in mind that many others in the world are dealing with issues too and thankfully there are those trying to help and improve the conditions of others.
A prime example of people reaching back to help are the good folks at Jam4Jamaica. Based in Toronto Canada J4J is in it’s second year of operation. They are currently preparing for their 2nd annual Jam4Jamaica fundraiser event on April 21st in downtown Toronto. Their goal is to raise enough money to fully fund the schloarships of 10 young students back in Kingston Jamaica. They accomplished their mission last year and are looking for back to back successful ventures.
I personally know no goal more worthy then investment in our youth. If you are in or plan on being in Toronto, Saturday April 21st, come though to support J4J at the Sheraton Centre Hotel. The “Fun” in Fundraiser will definitely be in effect that night. Even if you can’t be there in person, you can suppport the cause via donation.
