Diggy Makes an Appearance at Chicago Snoop Youth Football League Event

Winding down a very successful inagural season for the Chicago division of the s Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL), the league hosted a Chicago benefit skate party, in which Hip Hop celebrity Diggy Simmons made a suprise appearance.

Crown World Entertainment/RCA artist Jacob Latimore also stopped by the event and spoke to his youth peer. Both teen stars also agreed to come back for a benefit concert to help the league.

Snoop Dogg started the SYFL nearly eight years ago in South Central, LA which is now serving youth ages 7-13 in football, cheer and scholastics in three major markets, LA, Chicago and Vegas.

The Chicago division of Snoop’s league is in it’s inaugural year and was brought into the city by Entertainment Executive Tonja Styles in an effort to keep kids off the streets after the Derrion Albert tragedy. The league is wrapping up its first season in the windy city and is doing a number of fundraisers to help pay for football equipment. (Global Grind)

I definitely support the SYFL movement and we need MORE programs like this here in Chicago, I encourage EVERYONE to support the organization and help make positive change in our Chicago communities.

YOU can support the efforts by attending the next SYFL Chicago event November 17th with one of Diddy’s Bad Boys of Comedy. SUPPORT HERE!!!
