Samsung and Google’s Galaxy Nexus event has wrapped and I can’t help but think that Google and Samsung are about to dominate the rest of this year and Q1 of next year. Not to mention Motorola and Android as a whole. Some sure fire devices were released today and I also can’t help but feel just a wee bit bad for all of those iOS and iPhone 4S fan(atics). On second thought… NAH!… I don’t feel bad for them at all. I’ve been saying since its inception that the iPhone was nothing more than an APP LAUNCHER and the devices announced today proves it. Today is a spectacular day in the mobile industry. Lots of goodies to see and hear about. The Blackberry Dev Con is today, as well as Apple’s earnings call where they tell the world about how they made another 700 billion dollars. But BIGGER than all of that are the two Android announcements. One by Motorola and Verizon. The other by Google and Samsung. First up:

Motorola Droid RAZR

Eminem says he’s suffered massive memory loss because of his five-year battle with prescription drugs and still can’t recall many key events from his career.

The rapper struggled with an addiction to pills, including sedative Ambien, and now blames the drug for erasing years of his life.

“A lot of my memory is gone. I don’t know if you’ve ever taken Ambien, but it’s kind of a memory-eraser,” he tells Rolling Stone. “That s**t wiped out five years of my life. People will tell me stories, and it’s like, ‘I did that?’ I saw myself doing this thing on BET recently, and I was like, ‘When was that?’”

So now the Nets have Jay-Z, and the Sixers Have Will Smith.

This morning, Will and Jada Smith acquired a piece of the Philadelphia 76ers. A native of Philly, Will and his wife will have a minority stake in of the NBA team. According to majority owner and billionaire, Joshua Harris:
