Charles Hamilton was once labeled as the “Next Big MC,” he’s a former XXL Freshman had a major label deal with Interscope, co-signs by Eminem, Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine. But that changed quickly after many unflattering/embarrassing situations.
Mr. Hamilton is currently making strides to make a full return to the Hip Hop scene with the slightly unexpected release of a new mixtape/album project entitled, C.A.T.S. Can. The eleven track tape, which Hamilton describes as his “rehab” album, features production from himself, 9th Wonder and Sha-leik.
“C.A.T.S. taught me to not be afraid of my 3rd eye visions. So C.A.T.S. Can is a lot harsher than my previous work, with production from 9th Wonder, Sha-leik and myself,” he says.
