For the first time since debuting on the Billboard Top 200 album charts three-weeks ago, Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV, fell from the top spot to No. 3.

Despite dropping two seats, Wayne’s latest disc is still the highest selling rap album on the mainstream charts, pushing out 116,500 units over the last seven-days, according to the Nielsen SoundScan report released today (September 21). With these new figures tallied up, CIV, tips the scales at 1,300,600 copies sold.

Six spots down at No. 9 is Jay-Z & Kanye West’s Watch the Throne joint LP. In its sixth-week on shelves, fans picked up an additional 35,700 CDs, making the group’s total numbers stand at 871,700.

Eminem and Royce da 5’9”’s Bad Meets Evil EP, Hell: The Sequel, surpassed Game’s The R.E.D. Album this go-round, after selling about 13,000 copies, just enough to earn them No. 35 spot. So-far the disc sold about 529,000 units.

Closing out the Top 40 is The R.E.D. Album, one seat down at No. 36. With 12,300 CDs falling off shelves last week, the Compton MC now has a one-month total of 167,900 in sales.

Debuting on the charts with their first official release is Brooklyn based trio, Das Racist. The multi-cultural media darlings’ independent album, Relax, sold 4,500 units in its first-week, which earned the crew a seat at No. 111.
