Hip-hop star Missy Elliot has revealed she has been quietly suffering with a major autoimmune disease.

In 2008 the Grammy Award winning hit-maker was diagnosed with Graves’ disease – a disorder which affects the thyroid – and she admits the symptoms came on so fast; she almost lost her ability to do everyday things like drive and write.

She tells People magazine, “I was (driving and) trying to put my foot on the brake, but my leg was jumping. I couldn’t keep the brake down and almost crashed… I couldn’t write because my nervous system was so bad – I couldn’t even use a pen.”

Shaheem Reid spoke with Young Money boss in the new issue about how he knew that the album was ready & how Wayne chose the tracks for his upcoming album Tha Carter IV. XXL’s July/August 2011 issue will hit newsstands nationwide on July 12.

Asked, when he knew that the album was ready, Wayne said:

“You don’t. When they tell you. When [manager Cortez Bryant] call me and tell me and say, ‘You got such and such date is your deadline to stop,’ I be like, ‘Aight.’ ’Cause I never stop recording, obviously. So it’s just on him to say, “Okay, stop. We’re gonna pick these songs, and that’s the album.’ That’s how we do it.”

Two months later and the “show” is still going on. LupEND announced that Fiasco’s lead single, “The Show Goes On” has reached double platinum status. That makes it his biggest record to date. Cop “Lasers” now.

Following yesterday’s arrest, Jimmy Henchmen plead not guilty during his hearing at Brooklyn Federal Court. He was considered a flight risk and denied bail.

AllHipHop reports, Henchmen was apprehended with five BlackBerries, an iPad, two false driver’s licenses and a fake passport.

Henchman is accused of being a conspirator in a cocaine distribution network. He’s currently being held at Metropolitan Department Correctional (MDC) Facility in Brooklyn, coincidentally, the same jail housing Dexter Issac who accused Henchmen of orchestrating Tupac’s 1994 shooting.
