Droid 3 Specs Outed

Now anyone who knows me knows that I’m an unabashed Android fanboy. I started out with the very first Android phone, the G1 but didn’t really get hooked until until Verizon‘s Motorola Droid. And even though I’ve since moved on(Sprint‘s amazing HTC EVO 4G), its good to see Verizon keeping the Droid legacy alive with the just outed Motorola Droid 3.

The Droid 3 is expected to have a 4 inch qHD display(just like the one on the Droid X2), a slide out QWERTY keyboard w/a fifth row of keys dedicated to numbers, a front facing camera(for video chat presumably and of unknown resolution at this time), and an 8MP rear camera. Powering the device will be a Tegra 2 dual core processor and it will have an HDMI out port for viewing your pictures and videos on your HDTV. The only downside, it seems, is the lack of 4G radio.

Rumor pegs this device for a June release bit pricing isn’t available yet. Keep in mind that these specs are as yet, unconfirmed by Motorola or Verizon. As soon as release date and pricing are available, Hip Hop Democrat will be the first to let you know.
