Gucci Mane Charged With Battery for Allegedly Pushing Woman From Car

Gucci Mane’s lawyer is denying allegations that the rapper pushed a woman out of his Hummer as he drove down a suburban Atlanta street in January.

DeKalb County prosecutors on Tuesday announced formal charges of battery, reckless conduct and disorderly conduct against the rapper, also known as Radric Delantic Davis, 31.

Attorney Ashutosh Joshi said Tuesday the artist intends to plead not guilty, and that he and his client look forward to having the opportunity to fight the charges in court.

A police report said Davis pushed the woman, 36-year-old Diana Graham, out of his Hummer as it traveled down a street on Jan. 28.

DeKalb Solicitor-General Sherry Boston said the rapper’s conduct “shows a willful disregard for a woman’s personal safety.”
