Ever since Enrique Iglesias dropped out of an opening slot on Britney Spears’ tour shortly after it was announced on Tuesday, rumors have been flying over who will take his spot. Though Billboard had reported that Iglesias was in negotiations to do the tour as planned, it looks like Spears is actively courting other big names for the joint tour.
Right now it looks like Nicki Minaj is Spears’ most likely touring partner. According to TMZ, Spears and Minaj’s lawyers are in “serious talks” about the tour, and an agreement may be reached within the next few days.
Nicki is currently on the “I Am Music 2” Lil’ Wayne, those concerts end on April 28. Britney’s tour begins June 17 in Sacramento.
