The unequivocal rhyme duo, Camp Lo are back on the block—80 Blocks from Tiffany’s that is—with an interesting new tandem that will surely make headlines in 2011. Alongside the legendary Pete Rock, who exclusively produces and features on the album, 80 Blocks From Tiffany’s is a new supergroup and an album.
To build momentum for the project, they recruited over very own Trackstar The DJ to assemble a mix of blends of Camp Lo a capellas as well as four new exclusive freestyle tracks, all over classic Pete Rock beats, fortified by a selection of unreleased Camp Lo tracks and remixes.
Executive produced and hosted by DJ Mark DiVita, who spearheaded the project as Camp Lo’s tour manager, the 80 Blocks mixtape is up first and here’s the “mecca” of all offerings from the project.
