The Hennesy Artistry 2010 tour kicked off in Chicago, and I must say it was definitely a treat. With The Roots and Q-Tip this years Curators hip hop was definitely well represented musically, and with the contemporary art displays, and cultural environment, Hennesy did not only put together a successful event, they provided an experience. Q-Tip and the Roots touched on a plethora of classics throughout the night, bringing hand-picked talent on stage to share the festivities including hip hop artists Curren$y and Kid Sister, not to mention the presence of music icon Erykah Badu who graced the stage for an exciting set.
