George Michael charged with drug possession (Video)

LONDON – Pop star George Michael has been charged with drug possession of marijuana and driving under the influence.

Last month on July 4, Michael was driving his Range Rover mounted a curb and hit the front of a shop in North London. He was tested for alcohol and drugs after the crash.

Michael is due to appear at London’s Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on August 24th.

It was in 2007 when Michael was banned from driving for two years and sentenced to 100 hours of community service after admitting driving when unfit due to drugs.

In 2008 he apologized to fans after being arrested and cautioned by police for possession of drugs and promised then to “sort himself out.”
