All day yesterday the internet was buzzing with the news of Nike re-signing Vick despite all his run in the law. Word spread quick through the Twitter world and made its way to the folks over at Nike, who quickly shot ALL rumors down. Here is the statement that they released:
“Nike does not have a contractual relationship with Michael Vick,” Nike spokesman KeJuan Wilkins said in a statement. “We have agreed to supply product to Michael Vick as we do a number of athletes who are not under contract with Nike.”
