In his recent town hall meeting on healthcare reform, Barney Frank, who during his tenure has proved to be the best debater in congress, showed Obama and other Democrats how to handle the right wing lunatics that Republican organizers use to jam town hall meetings.
Though Frank was not as caustic as he is capable of being, as the video shows, he reduced one opponent of health care reform who compared it to Nazi Germany to the level of ” arguing with a dining room table”.
Though Frank needlessly maligned dining room tables which,unlike the questioner has been a symbol of civilized society for centuries, he has shown the way to Obama and other Democrats in the future — stop treating the lunatic arguments of healthcare opponents as if they are coming from rational human beings.
