Jay-Z and Eminem are not the only artists getting into the video game industry. Producer Timbaland, medicine who’s made hits for artists like Jay-Z, Missy Elliott and Ludacris, teamed up with the company responsible for the highly-successful Grand Theft Auto series to develop a video game, titled Beaterator. The game will allow players to utilize Timbo’s signature sounds to create their own beats.
”I’ve worked closely with Rockstar Games to make something completely unique,” Tim said via a press release. “Beaterator is like taking my music studio and turning it into a suite of tools anyone can use. We can’t wait to hear the beats people make and share with the world.”
Beaterator should hit stores on September 29th.
