Jay-Z talks to Tim Westwood about Chris Brown and The Game

Jay-Z, appeared on the Tim Westwood show, giving the UK radio personality a bunch of items for the Hip Hop blogs to talk about. He spit some lyrics from one his new joints, spoke about the whole rumorabout him getting Chris Brown thrown off the bill at BET awards, and threw a pithy comment towards rapper The Game. Here’s what he said about the alleged banning of the Rihanna-beating singer from the fake Michael Jackson tribute. Basically, he says it’s all bullshit and we having fun just “watching” it all unfold:

It’s just so silly. Like, first of all, so, first let me categorically deny that. I wouldn’t, that’s not even my style. If I got a problem with Chris Brown I got a problem with Chris Brown. I haven’t said anything. I haven’t said anything on, live or behind the scenes, whatever! You know? I don’t agree with what he did. That’s it, that’s it, that’s the end of it. But, as far as not allowing him to perform on BET, that’s just ridiculous, that’s stupid, that’s a sucker move, I wouldn’t do it. And people commenting on rumors is a sucker move.

And as far as the “beef” he had with rapper The Game, he kept it simple: “Tell groupie to get over it.”
